Divus Augustus, died AD 14. As (Orichalcum, 26 mm, 11.20 g, 6 h), Rome, struck under Tiberius, circa 34-37. DIVVS AVGVSTVS•PATER Radiate head of Divus Augustus to left. Rev. S - C Winged thunderbolt. BMC 158. Cohen 249. RIC 83. A lovely example with a very attractive brown patina. The reverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, good very fine.
